This is getting urgent: Jigsaw

Forums

I fly out on the 28th, Jigsaw does not yet have a home. We did have somone take him in missouri but they were wrong and we had to take him back (they are on the adoption agency's "no adopt list" now). He's a super gentle dog but they put him through way too much activity for his first day (a PARADE?) and he got scared and they said he was "mean". This dog is nearly the wimpiest sweetest dog I know. Copied from the craigslist to save time to get back to packing: Jigsaw is 6 years old, healthy, shots up to date, neutered, gentle, and happy. Needs a home before Sept. 27th. He would be happy almost anywhere as long as he has someone to love. He would be happy at a farm or a home with a fenced yard. He likes other dogs and plays with the cat. He had a hip injury that causes him to limp but when he wants to he can race around pretty fast. 918 263-2455 / 918 530-5937 / 918 629-6609 I can bring him over to meet you if interested. Or you may come visit us anytime. He is featured at Catahoula Rescue: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/17382922" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

He looks so sweet :flower , reminds me of my Ghost...I wish I could take him, but due to health issues :cry: , I am having to cut back myself...down to only 6 dogs and Abby now (Abby will never be a "dog")....

Yay! It worked out perfectly. He's an older man, wounded veteran, and he lost his older dog recently and the other dog has been depressed. Jiggy and the other dog just sized each other up and are getting along great. Knowing Jigsaw I expect they'll be snuggle buddies soon. :lol: He is perfect for an older person, he is kind of cripple himself and wont jump or anything and like to stay home where there aren't scary things.

Morgan, I got a reply from my "horsey" friend in Hawaii and this is his reply:

"Kylene

Nice to hear from you. Right now I'm in Colorado and will be back in Hawaii on sunday.
Sure, have your friend call me about info regarding the equine business in Hawaii. Depending on which island she is moving to will determine the amount of activties she can engage in. I am mostly into team roping, but know people that are into penning and cutting.
If you want, give her my email address or my phone number. Let me know her name, I would be more than happy to help her.

Aloha

IM me for his phone number and email address...like I said on the other thread, he lives in Hawaii (has for a LONG time) but travels a lot with his horses eventing so he should know a lot of people to give you a few "connections". Oh, I also told him about your "farrier" expertise and you should be able to pick up a few customers too...help pay those outrageous boarding fees.

Thanks! I got your message and I'll send him an email.
I've made a few contacts already just by working out a place to put V, I probably called almost every barn on the island lol. I was surprised that the board really wasn't that bad. I was used to 300-400 in FL and its about the same there. I think it will be nice to be at a "stable" again with other horse people. And the beach is across the street, which is beyond awesome.
