Self colored mane on a pali

I can't remember ever seeing a pali with a mane the same color as the body. My sister just bought a mare from these folks, and I ran across this one. [url]http://www.slidingontop.net/goldencoronate.htm[/url] and here's my sisters new mare, just and yes I'm jealous. lol

I'm guessing it may have "hidden" in the dun from the sire. Considering the diluted portions of dun and the roan pattern take up the same areas on the horse.

I think it only appears self because she's roan. Her forelock is significantly lighter than her head, her mane just isn't lighter than her body. I've seen several selfs though.
