Hello from Colorado

Hello all - I just joined this forum not too long ago and have been spending hours reading all the threads! I have had an interest in color genetics ever since fairly young when I was breeding rabbits :) I grew up with horses most of my life and then got involved with llamas for quite a few years too (talk about complex color genetics!!) I do photography semi-professionally (mostly dogs and horses). I also am an emerging professional artist and working my way into the equine art area more and more. You can view both some of my equine photos and my artwork on my web site http://www.aphelionart.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; While I don't presently own any horses I sure hope to again in the next few years as time and finances allow. I look forward to reading and learning and having a better understanding of equine color genetics as time progresses.

Hello! I learned about colour genetics when I was in my early teens when I bred rabbits! What did you keep? I mainly had angoras, Netherland dwarfs and later tri colour Dutch. My main area of knowledge is rat, cat and rabbit colour genetics.
Your art is so beautiful. I'm trying to work towards being an equine artist but I don't charge much and haven't pushed it much to really get going. I need to increase my website and advertise and join the Society of Equine Artists. I seem to have spent the whole last month either working or caring for my kitten who was very ill, but I do have some pictures in a local exhibition at the moment.
I've not owned a horse yet (still wishing for that pony, maybe when I'm 60 LOL) but I do love them and any horsey art.

Lipi I do ship overseas, but it is a bit more on shipping than in the US. I've done a few cards, but am about out of them right now. I have to get more for an art fair I have at the end of the month.

Hello and welcome, I was interested in your Terrier group photos as I am a breeder of Rat Terriers and recognized some in that group. The American Hairless crack me up to, I hear the feel like warm playdough :rofl .
