Re: Another "Surprise" Splash
We don't have general coloured cobs like england does, so not really a cob registry, just that the heavier ones imported from england can be registered as a Gypsy Cob. So the OP filly couldn't really be used there, but she'd still have nice foals! Yes I reckon she'd have gorgeous part arab foals!! I wonder how many would be pinto? I guess the louder arabs would help there.
Unfortunately, in my experience, those loud Splash horses often produce foals so minimally marked that they would not be considered Pinto. Take a look at Lotto's (shown above) get and while there are a few loud marked foals, those almost always come from obviously Pinto mares. I'm afraid this filly crossed with Arab would produce very few foals who are obvious Pintos. That's not to say they wouldn't be very nice foals, but if breeding for color, it most likely wouldn't be there.

I imagine you right about that, but thats the nice thing about breeding to a full blooded arab, you always have the 1/2 arab registry to fall back on.
Re: Another "Surprise" Splash
That reminds me of a Chincoteague stallion and his "surprise" splash get. The Welsh dam's socks are quite similar to the stallion's.
Oh they sold him to Oz too?!!?! I knew they sold a striking similar colt by him to Oz, but wasn't aware that they sold him as well.

My bad we have his son here Nostalgias Man With The Money  , looks identical to his sire though! Stunning horse.
