He's not conformationally perfect of course not but as I said I like him which is unusual for me as I just don't do Friesian crosses - at the end of the day if he were black I wouldn't give him a second glance.... ....so that says it all doesn't it !!!!

~Yes dilutes - that is exactly what I like about him, he is sturdy and not some pathetic cross breed type but I wouldn't use him on any mare of mine......would stick him in my pasture and just watch him ! :D

I am not a lover of Friesians in the first place, so I am afraid I am never going to like a cross ibecauseit is a cross!!!
I don't think they are a breed that crosses well, like QH's I think they are better off purebred.
Arabs and TBs and Welsh all cross out well, but some breeds just do not!!

Which QH crosses are you referring to Rabbit? I've seen some very nice QH crosses, but I guess they do get crossed with dumb things that I'm simply unaware of. I mean, there are so many TWH and that sort of horse around here, I'm sure someone near me has crossed some off with a QH, which would be a stupid idea, but I've seen TB x QH, Arab x QH, QH x ponies, that seemed to be just fine. I mean, Jazz is sort of a QH x TB. Her sire was paint, which is pretty much the same thing. I know she's a BYB baby, but I think she turned out ok (luckily, lol).

I like the above stallion :D He's my type of quarter horse x tb. I own one and he is similar in type to this boy (eg doesn't throw a lot to the quarter horse, a nice balance between the two).
