Thank you. I missed out on getting a really good video of him, he took off at a gallop away from me and tried to make the turn around the corner of the barn, realized he wasn't gonna make it, did a sliding stop, then fell over on his side lol.

He's a real cutie ! How on earth do you stop the mare from getting sunburnt - you must use loads of suncream....we have enough probs here and it's not as hot ! :)

Oh how adorable...foals are so sunny when they are out playing like that. :bounce :bounce :laugh1

Oh, I know all about that sunscreen problem. Between Luna (cremello stud) and Patches (Paint mare) I swear I am not a major stock holder in "Water Babies" :sad - particularly the spf 50 variety :angry (read that as burnt up and not angry)... I have to apply more today while Matt is doing hooves (gives me something to do while holding them... :rofl )

Call me crazy but I have never used any kind of sunscreen on her. She didn't burn at all last year and she hasn't yet this year.

they burn more when its a bounty-ful grass season, they get full and loaf around with their heads up more and when the grass is slimm pickens they have to eat longer and keep their heads down...out of the sun... that is my theroy lol

Hey that's a good theory and it would make sense with her lol, we've had the cattle out on the pasture she's in so there is grass but not a great amount. And she's constantly wandering around...unlike my Arabian who is as fat as the day is long and stands under the hay barn all day lol.

Hey! Have a few new pictures of Whiskey in his winter woolies. And he has retained his brown spots that I discovered back in August when I clipped him...they're not visible in the pictures but they are there. Can't wait to see how he looks when he sheds next year.
