Color in Arabians - Rhocky Rhoad and Rhevelation

I thought these guys were great, and really interesting examples of color in Arabians, so I asked the owner for permission to put them up. I was particularly intrigued by the colt's color change as he grew older.. I was going to say Bay....the lack of colour round the knees in any of the early pictures is what is fooling people, but if you think of it it is not rare in Bay foals.
It could, however, as easily have been Chestnut, just in Phenotype!

That's what got me! Those foal pics looked red/Red/RED. ...[i]until I got to the last photo and went[/i]: "Huh?"
