horseshoe size question

Forums

umm ok so I've found something with hooves I haven't got a clue about. I got a call about booting today and we talked a bit then she expressed a concern that the Swiss boots only go down to 00, and that her horse is in a 0000 shoe( ). How small IS a 0000? The Swiss sizing I'm thinking is a little different as Sissy is in an 0 and she is the same size as this horse and has tiny upright feet. 00 in the boots fits 9.6-10 cm wide, and I can stretch it a few mm with heat fitting and shrink with inserts. Of course if I go out to boot I'll get measurement but my initial reaction in my mind was "0000, wth?" LOL

barrier boots come in Size 0000 which is 3 1/4" wide and 3 1/2" long

maybe that is what she is thinking of for the size....that is apparently for minis and foals though, not horses
