Breeds which appear Sabino but do not test for Sabino1

So, this also ties into the genetics part of this game I'm working on. I've worked my way down the alphabet road, all the way to Sabino now...and either, I don't really have as good of a grasp on sabino as I thought I did, or I've turned my head into such alphabet soup that I'm useless right now. Honestly, probably both LOL. I thought I remembered (this group?) said something that Clydesdale's and Arabians do not test positive for Sabino1? And as I understand it (unless I'm using Sabino for a catch all of patterns) the expression of Sabino seems to vary from breed to breed? For instance, high occurance of loud body roaning in gaited horses, vs standard chrome (on legs and head). Am I making any sense or do I need to take a nap? What breeds do we know have been tested, and do not show Sabino1 but may have sabino traits? For the game, should I just suggest all breeds (which allow white) be able to inherit sabino?

I personally lump anything that looks dominant white or sabino into one category as 'KIT mutation' until it is proven to be DW or Sab. Sabino used to be the catch for everything that wasn't tobiano, frame or appy. Then the research on splash and KIT started to better explain all the white patterns. Nowadays, I call most white 'normal' chrome as either splash or KIT mutation based on phenotype unless proven otherwise.

Hm, thats a good point. Would it be better to classify it as a kit mutation....That might be easier to code. Just have the game horses 'test' for a Kit mutation, and it can be positive or negative.
