Bay with silver in mane

How cool! There is one a bit like that up where my brother lives, but a black horse. When I go visit him again I'll have to see if I can get a picture. The silvery mane always makes me take a second look as I pass by!!

I wonder if this could possibly be an indication of minimal Roan......after all, were she classic Roan the mane would be pretty typical?

I truely do not wish any horse to go to slaughter but her confo is not good that whole back and hip area.... poor love. I agree with Fizz, the mane does look classic roan.....weird!

She DOES have roaning in her flank AND she's in her winter coat (the "off time" for most roans). She could shed out roan in the spring.
