Bay or buckskin?

Our newest addition [img]http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab56/ravensbrookeminiatures/Rodger/r…] Dad appears just a black (have only seen photos as dam was purchased in foal) but owners say he carries cream (his dam is a pally), mum is a bay. His colouring is nothing like our other bay foal i.e his legs, muzzle & tail.

Is it possible your bother bay foal is actually brown? I'm assuming the legs were darker and that's part of what was throwing you?

This one is a Bay.
The sire having a Palomino dam just means there is a [i]chance[/i] of the sire having Cream, I know some people do think it automatically means they are Smoky Black, maybe his owners are some of them?

Oh and I'll be curious to see that second one shed out... there are some possible brown indicators.

Have other photos on my computer somewhere she looks jet black & another where she is a classic bay lol
