Barn Fire Christmas Eve

Hi everyone, I received news yesterday that Jon and Sherry Koella, who run Hidden Promise Sporthorses, lost their barns and many of their horses in a fire on Christmas Eve. Among the lost was Nico, their imported Dutch Warmblood/Friesian stallion. This news is via their friends, Deb and AK Morgan, who have bred to Nico several times. One of his offspring out of an Arabian mare of theirs is in our albums, a bay colt. As you can imagine, this is absolutely devastating. They run a first class operation and Nico was its backbone, and to have it happen at Christmas is a crushing blow. So please have them in your thoughts, they could sure use every bit of support to be mustered. That is so sad :cry: , do they have any idea why or how the fire started? I can't even imagine how devistated they must feel, I will definately say a prayer for them.

Oh my word! They will surely be in my thoughts and prayers. What a horrible thing to happen, let alone during the hollidays.

I read about Nico and the other poor horses perishing in a barn fire on an Aussie forum. I remember sharing his pics with them a few years ago as I thought he was so stunning and so did they.
