Baby flaxen or real flaxen?

This is a hard one, is that Sabino mottling right up there in the jugular area of the chin??
Is that Pangare??
I have seen foals like this go bright red Chestnut with no flaxen and I have seen them go real "blond" too......

What's at the roots? Brick was born with a pink mane and when it went flaxen you could see the roots within a week or so.

I'm not sure about the roots. I've only seen those photos. A few months old in the photos I think too.

I think this one'll go/stay Flaxen.

I agree that I think this one will stay flaxen. The foal looks old enough that the base of the mane would have darkened if it were going to change at shed.
