Another possibly dun foal!

This foal is not related at all to the one in my other thread. The sire if this colt is cremello (was tested ee aa) And the dam is brown roan. The colt when born looked like a typical buckskin. (Figured he would be a brown based buckskin). I clipped a little hair along his back, and there was a really dark black stripe! The sire does have dun in his pedigree, but obviously doesnt look dun himself since he is cremello. So are duns ever born not looking dun? I know alot of foals are born looking dun, and its just countershading they grow out of. But this colt didnt look dun at all at birth, but does now. (He is almost three months old). So is this dun, or late countershading? First pic is before he was clipped, second is after.
