He is HUGE. Very nice, but HUGE.

:love He is marvelous...I see a wonderful driving pony in your future...with a gorgeous white/trimed in black dog cart (maybe with a nice b&W striped canopy)....ooohhh, I'm dreaming again... :toast

Carlos is the sire, all 29" of him.
Foal was nearly as big born as the stallion!
Not as if Mama is big either, she is 32".
Oh well, some you win......

I bought a 30" Shetland, yonks ago, in foal to a 42" stallion ( :( ) and she had a foal who grew to be ........................................................31" !! Go figure.

those heights can surprise you...lol

my Spotted Saddle Horse mare was only supposed to hit around 12hh if that...she is by a 10hh stallion and out of a mare that was barely 13.3.

she ended up 13.3hh...which is perfect for me :D

Oh, I can go one better than that, Red :rofl
I put Rabbits sire, Fred, all 33" of him, on my Arab mare, Amira (on the basis that Fred was the best of his breed whilst Amira, much as I loved her, and beautiful though she undoubtedly was, was not well bred)
The foal was 34" at birth, red dun, just like Rabbit (and his dad) and made 12.2 hh.
Oliver has only ever had one owner, and he is now in his twenties.
He was bought at five, for two little girls.
He did everything for them, including being the only ten year child to be invited, by the Master, to ride with the adult hunt!!(This in spite of Elizabeth very nearly overtaking him a couple of times. We got her a globe cheek curb for the adult hunt!) He was just born knowing that he was a kids pony.
When they outgrew him he came back for harness training and the rest, as they say, is history!
