Andalusian foal - wild bay?

Was going back over some older threads including the discussion on the possible gruella Andy stallion MEJICANO XXIX (http://www.millpark-andalusians.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=v…) Anyways I was looking at the foals from him and found the 2nd foal on this link to be a very odd colored "bay" both as a foal and at 6 months. Here is the link and foals name is: MILL MIEL http://www.millpark-andalusians.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=v… Any thoughts? Would this just be wild bay type coloring? Or is it bay with a cr gene (wouldn't that be a bucky though)? Help set me straight :) Happy Thanksgiving my friends. If this foal has been discussed before please share the link for my ongoing education...

Brown :rofl
What about Wild Brown, seriously, is there such a thing??
I am not certain/convinced that any of those foals are Dun, are they tested?
I have had a Grullo as dark as Mejicana, but I am not convinced he is Dun, and to have all his foals turn out Dun is one heck of a coincidence! I would be testing him for sure, as if he is H/Z Dun surly his stud fee would be worth even more??

I'm working with a PRE mare almost the same color as Mejicano and really couldn't say whether she's bay-no sign of black in the tail etc and not liver as "that brown" look is so brown. There is a hint of a dorsal but she is so dark... I will get pics and look at her hair under the mic.

Okay, I guess I am just now waking up to what I read...I can honestly say that I have NEVER heard the term "Overo" to mean chocolate dun (do they mean brown based dun?) :o . There is a first for everything....lol

Yeah I was confused about that too!

Okay, but there are some of the foals that definitely look some shade of dun to me, NOT that i'm as good with colors as some of you.
the one that sticks out most is: MILL CAMPANA, especially the older picture of her. She looks like a Grulla to me and I don't see her turning grey either.

So maybe he is, there's just too many odd colored Bays to me., no i don't see ALL his foals being Dun but a few are in my opinion.

If she is going grey, it would add to her funky colour. If he does have cream too, it could make for the dun looking ones? That added to the more obvious primative markings of the PRE's?

I didn't think that the mane turned that blonde looking color with wild type bay..? I don't know though. She is a very interesting and pretty color anyhow. :)

I have seen wild bays with blond manes or tails, but I never thought that it was because of wild bay. I having said that I think that Mill Meil, Mill Besar, and maybe Mill Barroco are all showing signs of wild bay.
