Due to decreasing use over the years, I have decided to disable the forum functionality of the site.

Forums will still be available to view but new posts are no longer allowed.

What about a conformation category?

I know several of you are very good at this and some of our members may appreciate candid evaluations. However it could also generate bad feelings on the board so lets here the pros and cons....

I do think, if we do this, that we have some sort of guidelines as to the type of pictures (and how many) can be submitted--there is nothing worse than trying to look at conformation of a horse that is sprawl-legged, head down, munching away while covered in gobs of mud.

in another forum (subhorse.com) there's a popular section called "critique". It's not just conformation, but riding and art and all sorts of things. They have a sticky posted on guidelines for posting and one on guidelines for critiquing (like don't just say "that's ugly I hate it", say [i]why[/i]. It's neat. I'd send you a link but you have to be a member to see the forum, so yeah. If you wanna see it you'll have to sign up.
