Pointed Kittens

So...some of our younger barn cats have kittens. The first litter it looked to be two white kittens, a black and a brown tabby...2nd litter has one white kitten, a grey tabby, a brown tabby and a black.

The white kittens from the first litter started getting colored points today.

The one from the 2nd litter is starting to have it's nose turn from pink to grey.

Can cats carry points and not show? Or does a parent have to have points (neither female has them...one is a black tortie and the other is a tabby tortie...I posted their pictures as babies last year!) Pointed cats are not really seen around here....and while we can't see every tom--we have seen just a few. The orange one that showed up later last year, a black one and a brown tabby.

Points is recessive so they can def carry points and not show. Sorry I haven't responded sooner. I had the baby the day you posted this and haven't been online much since then.
